BEAT the Dungeon

Game Objective

The goal of the game is to get as far as possible within the limited time you have. Along the way, you'll encounter a shop where you can buy upgrades to help you successfully complete the level.

Combat Mechanics

• To defeat an enemy, simply run into them.

• Warning: Running into enemies can be risky. If you mistime your movement or get in their way, they can hit back and deal damage.

• Taking damage resets your progress to the beginning of the level.

Dungeon and Timer System

• The dungeon only resets when the timer runs out.

• The timer only decreases while you're in the dungeon.
  This design discourages players from staying outside the dungeon to farm weaker enemies.

Shop Instructions

• To purchase an item, stand in front of it and walk into it.
  (Start below the item and move upward into it.)

Important Upgrade Warning

• Buy upgrades in order!

• For example:
  If you buy Health 2 and then Health 1, your health will reset back to Health 1.

• If you can afford a higher upgrade and want to skip a lower one, only buy the higher one.
  Do not go back and buy the earlier upgrade afterward.
